Best Prescott High Schools

High school is the springboard to your teen’s college career, so it’s vital that the high school you choose supports their learning. The following schools work hard to mentor students and increase their capacity to learn.

Prescott BASIS 

Since we already covered BASIS in part one of our list of schools, we won’t delve into the details too much. That said, we would be remiss not to include such an important part of our community in our list of high schools.

Tri-City College Prep School 

Tri-City College Prep is at 5522 Side Road in Prescott. This prep school is dedicated to keeping standards high and helping their students reach them.  

Tri-City College Prep offers a high academic curriculum in an alternative learning environment. Their structure addresses students’ individual needs to help them achieve their maximum potential. Their rigorous courses are not for everyone and are best suited to highly motivated students.  

Arizona AgriBusiness and Equine 

Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center is an early college high school that offers college credits to students from 9-12 grade. There are six horses on-campus, making it highly appealing to equestrian students. 

This early college high school requires 2 fine arts classes that can be as varied as students wish, from ceramics to welding.  

They also require 2 semesters of foreign language and college success skills classes. All college credits are free to earn as long as students pass their classes. Many students enrolled here can get their Associate degree before they finish high school.

Your young adult’s college or university education can set the tone for success in their career, providing security throughout their lives. Here are the best colleges and universities in the Prescott area!

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

Award-winning Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is at 3700 Willow Creek Road in Prescott. Their undergraduate Aerospace Engineering programs have been ranked number 1 by US News & World report for 20 years, and their Worldwide Campus was recently named number 1 in the nation for Best Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs and Best Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs for Veterans.  

Embry-Riddle offers courses in the following fields of study:

Yavapai College 

Yavapai College is at 3800 North Glassford Hill Road in Prescott Valley. They offer several fields of study and are a fantastic choice for theatre students. Unlike Embry-Riddle, they have a performing arts center that seats 1,064 people for live performances.
