Celebrate the rich history of Prescott by attending Prescott Frontier Days and Rodeo! It’s a full week of fun, no matter what rodeo events delight you.
**Unless otherwise noted, there is an entry fee for Prescott Rodeo events.**
Join us for Junior Bonner Movie Night on 6/27 from 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM. As some of you may know, Junior Bonner is a movie that was filmed in 1972 on location here in Prescott and features many of the residents as extras.
On the 6/28-7/4, enjoy performances at the World’s Oldest Rodeo from 7:30-10:00 PM.
Starting on 7/1, you can also expect Mutton Bustin’ at 5:30 PM. The final rodeo performance is on July 4th at 1:30 PM.
The Happy Hearts Rodeo for Exceptional Children will be from 5:00 PM -6:00 PM on the 30th of June – a free event featuring special-needs youngsters aged 5-12. Also on June 30, kick up your heels at the rodeo dance taking place in the BMO Harris Bank Parking Lot on Montezuma street from 8 PM to 1 AM on July 1!
Another event for youngsters is the Kiwanis Kiddie Parade on July 1 at 9 AM, which is free to contestants and their families. Dress up your kids for Frontier Days and join the fun! The Rodeo Parade takes place at the same time, so the whole family can get involved.
On July 2 and July 4, there will be arts and crafts at the Courthouse Plaza. Enjoy crafts from 9 AM-4 PM on Saturday the 2nd and from 9 AM-6 PM on Monday the 4th.
On July 3, join us for cowboy church from 9 AM-10 AM.
Prescott Frontier Days is a week-long celebration of our origin as the World’s Oldest Rodeo – so come up to Prescott and enjoy watching a Junior Bonner movie, rodeo events, parades, arts and crafts, cowboy church, and more. There are free events for kids, so there’s fun for everyone in your family.
